Thailand #2 (Cambodia)
I am writing you from Siem Reap, Cambodia! It is currently the end of winter here at a warm 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Two years ago when I was here serving for a month on the world race it was 110 so I am counting my blessings! Perspective is so important.
My team and I are here for the next two weeks learning from the AIM base here (Overflow Guesthouse) and soaking up everything we can from their staff. We are also helping serve at the awakening conference that Overflow is hosting the next few days!
I am so excited to be a part of this gathering of almost 200 people to join in worship, teaching, and encouraging one another. I am expecting good things this week and am confident that the Lord has big plans in store.
Yesterday the delivery truck showed up to deliver the water for the hostel guests. 800 bottles had been ordered and instead we got 800 cases resulting in 9,600 bottles of water! We all had a good laugh and got a good workout in moving them wherever they would fit. No dehydration here!
Please keep us me in prayer as we work to host nearly 200 World Racers and staff these next few days. I am excited to see how God works this week.
