Training Camp Round 3
The past 9 days I have been helping facilitate a World Race training camp for 170 racers getting ready to hit the mission field! I am always surprised at what the Lord does not only in the racers that come to training camp, but how the Lord works and speaks to me during these special camps. It was here at training camp two years ago when my missionary journey really kick-started and it is crazy what God can do with just a willing spirit and an attitude of saying yes.
Training camp brings a new perspective for me and helps me zoom out to that 30,000 feet airplane view. I very easily get stuck in the details and the foreseeable challenges, easily forgetting the God I serve. He is a God that is insanely big and can handle the large and the small, the big life questions and the little details that so often hang me up.
Training camp has also made me very aware of the fundraising obstacle that I am facing with Thailand. I am trusting in the big and small and know without a doubt that my Father in Heaven is going to provide because He has called me to this!
I want to say a huge “thank you” to all of those who have joined me in prayer as well as those who partnered with me financially. It is such a huge blessing. I am excited to say I have almost 25% of what I need committed toward my Thailand goal! I am super thankful and excited to see how God wants to provide in the coming days.
